Life with my biggest fan… It’s the title for Jeff & Ashley’s blog, home to the chronicles of the (almost!) three years they’ve been doing this crazy thing called marriage. That saying couldn’t be more true of these two, supporting each other unconditionally in their pursuit of the things they love… missions, writing, photography, music, and traveling. Even better, the things they share and love – things for which they are undoubtedly gifted to do.
Early this year, Ashley and Jeff celebrated their second wedding anniversary… and this summer, five years since their first date. And it has been a ride which led them to Nashville four years ago, and it’s here that they’ve been building, piece by piece, the sort of life they just barely started dreaming of years ago in Illinois. This year has been a big one for them, new business ventures, new jobs, and after a long time of waiting and hoping, this was also the year they welcomed a beautiful rescue puppy whom they named Lyric, into their crazy-loving arms!
I’ve loved getting to know Ashley this year, as we moved from an acquaintanceship prompted by her sweet and encouraging comments on the various blogs I manage to keep up, to our semi-frequent lunches at Moe’s just chatting about life and lessons in love and photography. She is such a joy to be around, and I’d been looking forward to this session for a long time. It seemed we were waiting for the perfect fall afternoon, and as our great fortune would have it, it was just that… perfect.
The chemistry between these two, the laughter, the lighting – the energy of their gorgeous little Lyric. I couldn’t have asked for more.
