Kelly & Drew :: Nashville Wedding Photography

A sweet Southern boy is introduced, in his first few days on campus at his new alma mater, to a stunningly beautiful Southern girl. It only takes an evening stroll and their first date a few days later to cement an affection between the two; an affection which grows steadily over their four years in college together and the year since they’ve graduated. That same love has changed and grown and become the sort of thing that brought them to this point in the story, avowing their lives to each other in front of a room full of family and friends.

Kelly, a self-professed “wed-aholoic”, spends her days working for some of the most well-respected wedding vendors in our area and has dreamed of this day for years on end. Her Pinterest boards have been overflowing with gorgeous details and a harvest of inspiration for their big day. She even spent time chronicling her planning journey, sharing the intricacies of everything it has taken to get to this point, and not without a few twists and turns. But it is those twists and turns where you can see both Kelly and Drew excel, taking challenges in stride and coming again and again to a place of contentment in what matters most – their marriage.

Their beautiful, emotion-filled ceremony was at the core of their wedding experience – accented perfectly by all of those details Kelly worked so tediously to bring together with help of some incredible vendors (see below!), friends, and family. From the lush, impeccably designed florals everywhere, to the traditional cake and champagne reception with the added fun of a mobile coffee bar paired with sweet and salty snacks, and finally, the fun of sharing in hours of dancing with your closest friends, it was a perfect celebration of their unique love and a new lifetime together.

Kelly and Drew, out of all of the people you could have chosen to be there to document this for you, thank you for allowing me the honor. I will always be grateful to you for your support and love of my work, and pray you will always remember how special this day was when you look at your images. And thank you for reminding me, on my own anniversary, of the joy with which this journey begins and is founded on. Wishing you many, many years to come of the love you share which will only become something more magnificent as time goes on!

Heather - I think I’ve come back to look at these dozens and dozens of times now. I specifically love how you made the table numbers into the wedding date and the coffee/dessert/ring shots. What a lovely couple and beautiful photos!
